SO CUTE TO SEE THESE TWO HANGING OUT TOGETHER! ROMAN WAS BEING FUSSY AND JIM OFFERED TO TAKE HIM, HE SET HIM ON HIS CHEST AND WITHIN SECONDS ROMAN WAS HAPPY AND CONTENT HANGING WITH DADDY.

THE FIRST PICTURE OF HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN... WE ARE SO HAPPY!

WELL, THE WAIT WAS WELL WORTH IT! 9 MONTHS OF BEING PREGNANT AND PREPARING FOR PARENTHOOD HAS CERTAINLY PAID OFF. ROMAN MICHAEL WAS BORN FRIDAY MARCH 13TH, 2009 AT 8:05PM, AND WAS 7 POUNDS 10 OUNCES AND 19 3/4" LONG. HE WAS A HEALTHY LITTLE BOY AND DID WELL DURING LABOR. HE EVEN SEEMS TO BE ADJUSTING WELL TO THE ROUTINE OF HOME LIFE. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER AS NEW PARENTS AND WE THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR LOVE AND SUPPORT.

WE TOOK ROMAN TO HIS FIRST DOCTORS APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY AND HE'S UP TO 8 POUNDS 3 OUNCES AND THE DOCTOR SAID SHE REALLY DOESN'T SEE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, HE APPEARS TO BE HAPPY AND HEALTHY!

I AM HOPING TO BE ABLE TO KEEP UP ON THE BLOG AS MUCH AS I CAN - WHEN I CAN... ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE DAYS GO BY SO QUICKLY!

HAVING A BABY!!!

IT'S THURSDAY NIGHT, AND I WENT TO THE DOCTORS YESTERDAY... ROMAN IS ALREADY 8 POUNDS 3 OUNCES... AND HE'S APPARENTLY QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HERE BECAUSE HE STILL HASN'T ATTEMPTED TO MAKE HIS GREAT ESCAPE. I ENDED UP SPEAKING WITH THE DOCTOR AND MADE THE DESCISION TO INDUCE LABOR TOMORROW MORNING. I AM SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL TOMORROW MORNING AT 5AM TO START THE PROCESS. JIM AND I ARE SO EXCITED TO BECOME PARENTS. I MYSELF AM PRETTY NERVOUS ABOUT LABOR, BUT I KEEP TELLING MYSELF THAT THOUSANDS OF WOMEN DO THIS EVERYDAY AND IT'S ALL GOING TO BE OKAY. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED ON THE BABY NEWS AND WE WILL BE BLOGGING AS SOON AS WE CAN WITH PICTURES OF OUR PRECIOUS BABY BOY! LOVE TO YOU ALL, AND THE NEXT BLOG I POST I'LL BE A MOM AND JIM WILL BE A DAD! HOW EXCITING!

Well... it's Sunday night and although I was told Wednesday that I would be canceling my appointment that I have this coming Wednesday with my doctor because I would be having the baby by this weekend... I don't think that theory went according to plan for me. Jim and I are still waiting... no baby yet, infact I have had less contractions since I was at the doctor Wednesday.

I'm hoping something happens over the next couple of days...

Rite of Election at Rosary Cathedral in Toledo

THE PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE...

Today was the Rite of Election for all RCIA members in the northwest Ohio area. We had 10:00 mass at our local church where were were called up to sign the Book of the Elect, then at 3pm we were at the Rosary Cathedral in downtown Toledo where it was absolutely packed and I couldn't help but to take photo's of the Cathedral. It took my breath away and I just thought it was so beautiful. The Bishop stood next to the door as we were leaving and Jim was able to shake his hand. It was a great experience that really made me feel closer to the Catholic faith.
